Hoatzin is a quiet, curious person. Often invested in his research, he’d much rather be by himself than be around other people. Hoatzin aspires to be a world-renown scientist and has embarked on this journey to prove himself. While seemingly reserved on the surface, Hoatzin can be snarky when he wants to be. He is prone to thinking like a scientist, sometimes to a fault, as he often doesn’t realize the consequences of his words or actions.

Melano is the eccentric captain of The Outcast, and is unapologetically himself. He is the type to do what he wants. While many would say Melano is not the sharpest cutlass in the belt, he is street-smart with his own brand of logic. Melano can be very blunt at times; he is not the type to speak in metaphors and will call things as he sees them.

Ferrex is the handyman of The Outcaste crew, and the First Mate of the Devourer of the Seas, Captain Melano. He is brazen and hot-headed, saying whatever he pleases, but is genuine in all his interactions. As the First Mate, he takes his role seriously, always looking out for his fellow crew mates. He has built many wondrous creations, including the tree house and often does repairs for The Outcaste.

Cinet is the medic and the gardener of the pirates: if someone is injured, rest assured Cinet has a remedy or herb to help. He is the most formal of the pirates thanks to his upbringing and shies away from confrontation. However, when push comes to shove, he will defend his fellow crew mates. Cinet is very caring and compassionate toward those in need.

Viewed as the big brother of the pirates, Aster is often the voice of reason. He is the oldest of the crew members and is very attuned to the emotions of others. As the designated cook of the crew, his homely dishes can soothe any wayward soul. Though he regularly wears a deadpan expression, he cares deeply for his fellow crew members.
